Dear Future Wife: Resilience

Dear Future Wife

Dear Future Wife,

I applaud you. I’m in awe of you.

I see every single step you took to get where you are.

I appreciate your resiliency. I see how strong you are while expected to be weak.

I see your heart is big enough to hold your emotions and pumps so much determination of a go-getter to keep a nation’s blood flowing. I see the tears behind your smile.

I hope this written kiss touches you and causes a chill.

I’m expected to give only enough praise to let you know you’re fine being beneath me but I recognize I can’t survive without you beside me.

My life of carrying has not worked and I’m no longer afraid to see you eye to eye because my pickup game has drained me. I’m ready for a woman like you.
